That's why we give special attention to subjects like Space Science and Astronomy. Thanks to the collaboration of Mrs. Fagbemiro from AWB and the Nigeria Space Agency, our students were treated with an extraordinary opportunity on Friday, the 20th 2024. The two NASA ambassadors from Orlando, Florida, graced our premises, bringing with them a wealth of knowledge and inspiration about the mysteries surrounding the cosmos and the universe in general.
During their visit, the NASA ambassadors captivated our students with tales of space exploration and the scientific facts about the universe. From the intricacies of space habitats to the search for extraterrestrial life, our young minds were engaged and inspired.
One topic that particularly sparked excitement was NASA's latest mission to Mars. With the recent launch of the newest Mars rover from Cape Canaveral, our students eagerly discussed the rover's mission to search for evidence of past and present life on the Red Planet. This real-world connection to NASA's ongoing exploration efforts brought the wonders of space exploration to life right before their eyes.
Our students not only gained knowledge about the universe—but ignited a sense of curiosity about the science and intelligence that could be harnessed from the cosmos, as well as a passion for discovering and learning more about habitation in space. Its an undisputable fact that nurturing these qualities and embedding these scientific thoughts about astronomy in our students, we prepare the next generation of cosmic geniuses that can lead discoveries, and courageously go where no one has ever gone before.
